\nof the modern movement has drawn the intellect and the sight, but
\nleft aside the human body and it’s sensations – (\u2026) – but also left

\n The
\nwork is based on Man meeting with himself and does so through the
\nsenses.<\/div>\n
\n Actual
\nArchitecture has the ease of technological advances that everyday
\nflood the offices with new materials. However all these amenities
\nhave achieved was for buildings to be deprived of presence, making
\nthem the fruit of unbridled consumption, of the ostentation and many
\ntimes from the creator’s Ego. Today architecture is endowed with a
\nstart system that dictates the trends as the world finds itself
\ngrappling with political crises and austerity. All these components
\nhave assembled an explosive cocktail when we look at the landscape of
\ncities only to realize that the concept of \u201cinhabit\u201d is degraded.<\/div>\n
\n With
\nthis work we aim to give back to Man, in any place of the World \u2013
\nsquares, gardens, glades, parking lots from big malls, etc \u2013 the
\nright of inhabit the planet without stratifications of any kind.<\/div>\n
\n We
\nhave done it by going back to the children’s imaginary, to the age of
\ndreams and curiosity and in a simple and pure way we created a
\nmultitude of spaces that enable each one, in a singular way; to Be
\nand to think.<\/div>\n
\n To
\nthe image of the ordinary house we subtracted it’s mass as an
\nallegory to the present and to the reality we now live in; because
\nboth rely on the way we gaze and feel them. It’s also a symbol of
\nchange because the absence of mass gave to it a building site
\ncharacter and also a lightness that emerged to oppose the image of
\nconcrete boxes.<\/div>\n
\n Within
\nthe space of the house we laid five boxes made of white concrete in
\nthe exterior and black in the interior to keep the game of
\noppositions.<\/div>\n
\n We
\nwander through a synesthetic route that begins from North and ends to
\nNascent. Through it we primarily find the purification volume that
\nintends to raise our vision and audition senses.<\/div>\n
\n In
\nthe following box we find the shadows, that symbolize the air. It is
\naimed for the individual to question about the visually perceptible
\ntruth and also for the visual experience to assume tactile
\ncharacteristics \u2013 feeling with the hand the form that is observed.<\/div>\n
\n Through
\nthe pathways between the boxes we are at constant presence of the
\nsoil, the nature, the use of the smell sense that refers to the
\nmemories and to the quest of Man, through glades that were created
\nwith the subtraction of the total volume.<\/div>\n
\n In
\na third moment the visitor is confronted with the light that
\nsymbolizes the fire and the sense of feeling through the skin.<\/div>\n
\n After
\nreestablished the equilibrium of the senses and the soul and mind
\nopened we find the last two spaces. One is a space with books and the
\nother with dialog, music and exchange for the house of Pink Floyd is
\nwhat each and every one of us want it to be.<\/div>\n
\n With
\nthis project we wish to return to Man a place for him to pulse with
\nthe World, a space that appealed to solidarity and to the strength of
\nthe use of words.<\/div>\n

\n\u201cGrande parte do movimento moderno desenhou o intelecto e o olhar, mas deixou de parte o corpo humano e as suas sensa\u00e7\u00f5es \u2013 (…)- como tamb\u00e9m deixou as mem\u00f3rias e os sonhos desalojados.\u201d – Juhani Pallasmaa<\/i><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nO trabalho baseia-se no encontro do Homem consigo pr\u00f3prio e f\u00e2-lo atrav\u00e9s dos sentidos.<\/div>\n
\nA arquitectura actual possui a facilidade dos avan\u00e7os tecnol\u00f3gicos que todos os dias inundam os gabinetes com novos materiais. Contudo essas facilidades fizeram com que a maioria das constru\u00e7\u00f5es sejam desprovidas de presen\u00e7a, s\u00e3o fruto do consumo desenfreado, da ostenta\u00e7\u00e3o e muitas das vezes do Ego do seu criador. Hoje a arquitectura \u00e9 dotada de um star sistem que dita as tend\u00eancias e o mundo v\u00ea-se a bra\u00e7os com pol\u00edticas de crise e austeridade. Todas estas componentes fizeram um coctail explosivo e quando olhamos para o landscape das cidades percebemos que o conceito de habitar est\u00e1 degradado.<\/div>\n
\nCom este trabalho pretendemos devolver ao Homem, em qualquer lugar do mundo, pra\u00e7a, jardim, descampado, parque de estacionamentos de grandes centros comerciais, etc. o direito de habitar o planeta sem estratifica\u00e7\u00f5es de qualquer tipo.<\/div>\n
\nFizemo-lo voltando ao imagin\u00e1rio das crian\u00e7as, ao tempo dos sonhos e da curiosidade e de uma forma simples e pura criamos uma multiplicidade de espa\u00e7os que permitem a cada um, de forma singular; Ser e pensar.<\/div>\n
\n\u00c0 imagem da casa comum, subtra\u00edmos-lhe a massa, como alegoria ao presente e a realidade na qual vivemos; pois ambos dependem de como olhamos e sentimos. \u00c9 tamb\u00e9m uma s\u00edmbolo da mudan\u00e7a, pois a aus\u00eancia de massa deu um caracter de estaleiro aos al\u00e7ados, mas tamb\u00e9m de leveza que se veio contrapor \u00e0 imagem das caixas de bet\u00e3o.<\/div>\n
\nDentro do espa\u00e7o da casa colocamos 5 caixas em bet\u00e3o branco no exterior e preto no interior, para manter o jogo de oposi\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/div>\n
\nTrilhamos um percurso sinest\u00e9sico que come\u00e7a a Norte e acaba a Nascente, nele encontramos primeiramente o volume da purifica\u00e7\u00e3o que pretende apurar os sentidos da vis\u00e3o e da audi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/div>\n
\nNa caixa seguinte encontramos as sombras, que simbolizam o ar, pretende-se que o indiv\u00edduo se questione sobre a veracidade do que v\u00ea e tamb\u00e9m que essa experi\u00eancia visual assuma caracter\u00edsticas t\u00e1cteis, de sentir com a m\u00e3o a forma que observa.<\/div>\n
\nNos percursos entre as caixas estamos em constante presen\u00e7a da terra, da natureza, do uso olfacto que remete para as mem\u00f3rias e a busca do Homem, atrav\u00e9s das clareiras que foram criadas com a subtrac\u00e7\u00e3o do volume total.<\/div>\n
\nNum terceiro momento, o visitante \u00e9 confrontado com a luz, que simboliza o fogo e do sentir atrav\u00e9s da pele.<\/div>\n
\nNos dois \u00faltimos espa\u00e7os ap\u00f3s restabelecido o equil\u00edbrio dos sentidos e aberta a alma e a mente encontramos um espa\u00e7o com livros e um outro de dialogo, de m\u00fasica, de troca pois a casa dos Pink Floyd \u00e9 o que cada um quiser fazer dela.<\/div>\n
\nQuisemos com este projecto devolver ao Homem um lugar onde pulsar com o mundo, um espa\u00e7o que apelasse \u00e0 solidariedade e \u00e0 for\u00e7a do uso da palavra.<\/div>\n
